Dave’s Hot Chicken is a fast-casual restaurant chain founded on May 2, 2017, by four friends: Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, Tommy Rubenyan, and Gary Rubenyan, in a parking lot in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. 

Starting with just $900 and a portable fryer, their flavorful Nashville-style hot chicken quickly gained popularity, fueled by social media buzz and a viral Eater LA article. The brand’s simple yet bold menu, featuring tenders and sliders in spice levels from “No Spice” to “Reaper,” helped it stand out.

Today, Dave’s Hot Chicken has grown to over 300 locations worldwide, including the U.S., Canada, the UK, and the Middle East. Headquartered in Pasadena, California, and led by CEO Bill Phelps, the chain is backed by celebrity investors like Drake and Maria Shriver.
